With book, music, and lyrics by Colby Thompson, An Outrageous Outcome is a musical revue for four performers that examines the concept of luck and what it even means. It follows a series of events that all deal with some kind of luck or happenstance. Some of them are very obviously extraordinary, others are more subjective examples of luck, and a few are simply bizarre.

Following a world-premiere concert production at Green Room 42 in November 2023, An Outrageous Outcome makes returns to New York City in July 2025 for a fully-stage production as a part of New York Theater Festival’s Summerfest!
